This photo session was the second half of an original session. Charles and Emily wanted to do the first half while she was still pregnant, followed by these fantastic photos of their precious Gavin after his birth. He was not interested in having his picture taken but we managed to bring out his fun and energetic side anyway.Papa John's Park helped create a fabulous backdrop for these photos. Although, the clouds filled the sky, the rain managed to stay away. Charles, much like myself, is constantly traveling back and forth between Puerto Rico and Louisville, KY. and the rain would have forced us to reschedule. Luckily, we prevailed.
I look at these pictures of Gavin with a fondness I have for my own children...once small and delicate. Even though life rushes by without a sound, I make a conscience effort to remind myself how important capturing life in “its moments” really is.
