Autumn - Jacob, Elijah, Sarah and Anna

Fall is quickly approaching and there are already signs of the leaves changing. Rich and Annette wanted to have pictures taken of their children (Jacob, Elijah, Sarah and Anna) with a fall/winter theme. By using the outdoors and a variety of props, pictures really come to life and provide a sense of timelessness. So thinking outside the traditional box, we decided on the Miller residence in Oldham County for our backdrop.

Annette wanted the girls to wear these beautiful, vibrant red coats but was concerned the weather would make it too uncomfortably warm. But much like many shoots before, the weather cooperated and provided a pleasantly cool day. The kids were so excited and willing, I couldn't have ask for a better group of kids to work with. But I’m not sure who was having more fun…the kids or Rich and Annette, as they looked on, while the kids fed Woody, the horse, apples and carrots.
